Competition Guidelines

  • Participants must complete the registration form for entry into the competition.
  • Children ages 7-12 can submit in the anti-bullying category only.
  • Children ages 13-17 may submit in the anti-bullying or GBV category.
  • Only one entry per student is allowed.
  • Artwork must be original and completed by the student.
  • Artwork size must be 18 x 24 inches in approved traditional media only.
  • No videos, photography, or performance art should be submitted.
  • Submissions must promote positive behavior and a violence-free environment.
  • Artwork must not include hate speech, offensive language, or identifiable images.
  • Submit a clear high-resolution PNG or JPEG for judging.
  • Include a title and a 100-150 word description.
  • Entries must be submitted by students only.

Themes For Art Pieces

Theme 1 - Anti-Bullying (Ages 7-12) choose 1 only

  • Respect and kindness in school
  • Be Kind Online (understanding and preventing cyberbullying)
  • Celebrating diversity and inclusion
  • Be a Hero and say NO to bullying
  • Small Acts, Big Change
  • Kindness is Cool

Theme 2 - Gender-Based Violence (Ages 13-17 can compete in Anti-Bullying or GBV), choose 1 only

How to Enter Checklist

  • I am between 7-17 years old.
  • I am a citizen or legal resident of Trinidad and Tobago.
  • I attend a public, private, vocational, special education school, or I am home schooled.
  • I am submitting one individual art piece only.
  • I completed the online registration form.
  • My parent or guardian and I read and signed the waiver and consent form.
  • I chose one theme that fits my age group.
  • My artwork is inspired by one of the suggested theme ideas listed in the competition guidelines.
  • My artwork is original and created by me only.
  • My artwork promotes positive behavior, kindness, and respect.
  • My artwork does not include hate speech, offensive language, or identifiable images.
  • My artwork is 18 x 24 inches and uses approved media only.
  • I did not submit video, photography, or performance art.
  • I took a clear, high-resolution photo or scan saved as JPEG or PNG.
  • I included a title and a 100-150 word description.
  • I provided the signed waiver and consent form.
  • I submitted the entry myself.
  • I submitted before the deadline.
